About the Role
Generali Operations Service Platform is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer & Designer to join our Infrastructure Operations team. In this strategic role, you will design and implement advanced network architectures across our global environment, lead modernization initiatives, and ensure the reliability and security of our network landscape.

• Design complex enterprise network infrastructures (scalability, security, high availability)
• Lead network implementation and modernization projects
• Act as subject‑matter expert in Cisco Meraki, Cisco ISE (Catalyst Center is a plus)
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Utilize deep knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• Collaborate with international teams to align on global standards
• Support automation and optimization of network operations

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 7+ years in network engineering & design within complex environments
• Strong expertise in Cisco enterprise solutions (Meraki, ISE)
• Excellent knowledge of LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, network security principles
• Advanced troubleshooting and optimization abilities
• English level B2+
• CCNP / CCIE certifications are an advantage
