WOOD & Company is a leading investment bank in Emerging Europe, with over 300 employees in 7 different geographic locations (Prague, London, Dublin, Milan, Bratislava, Warsaw and Bucharest ), with the main business lines including Equities Brokerage, Investment Banking Advisory, and Asset Management.

Our IT Team is looking for a new colleague – Java Developer.

YOU WILL WORK ON

• Calypso Technology - Back technology solutions for financial markets Java + Oracle
• Customizations and interfaces for up/down stream systems
• Core component of WOOD’s business
• Small team of highly passionate developers and analysts

KEY REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Bachelor level degree in Computer Science or similar subject
• At least three years of programming experience in Java
• Knowledge of Core Java, JDBC, JMS, JAX-WS
• Basics of Linux
• Advantage: JBoss EAP, Scala, Camel
• Good level of Czech/Slovak and English language
• Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
• Communicative, quick learner
• Responsibility
