Cardif Czech

Two entities

We are part of the French BNP Paribas Group. Our star logo is familiar to most people thanks to our sponsorship of major tennis tournaments. And our mission is also stellar – to protect our clients in the event of unexpected life events, such as loss of income due to job loss or long-term illness.

We have two entities in the Czech Republic – BNP Paribas Cardif Insurance Company and Services.

INSURANCE COMPANY

The first of these mainly cooperates with banks that offer our products to customers. Our flagship product is payment protection insurance, which we were one of the first to introduce in Czechia.

SERVICES

The other half of our company, internally known as "serviska," is a knowledge center for all of Central Europe. It includes IT, marketing, HR, finance, and several other departments. The culture here is a bit more punk than at the insurance company, but we still work together as a well-coordinated team. Serviska was founded in 2017 and has been growing rapidly ever since. Many locals and foreigners work on international projects here every day. All apps are developed by our programmers at Serviska and tailored to individual insurance companies.

Who are we looking for?

Services will appeal to anyone who dislikes strictly defined procedures and rigid rules and prefers to use common sense. The ideal candidate is someone who is not fazed by a rapidly changing environment, who can adapt quickly, who has a certain amount of creativity, and who is fluent in English. On the other hand, our insurance company is a good fit for those who are looking for security and stability with clearly defined responsibilities.

We welcome IT professionals, whether developers, architects, analysts, or security or infrastructure specialists. Right after them, actuaries are the most sought-after. They should be able to work with statistical data and be prepared to communicate extensively with our legal department. Many interesting international projects await them.

Volunteering

We offer a helping hand not only to our clients, but also to others who need it. We regularly organize CSR days, contributing to better living conditions.

🐴 We don't forget about animals and are involved, for example, in the Malá Chuchle Zoo Corner.

🌲 In cooperation with Lesy Praha, we clean up litter in nature.

💑 We also visit the Palata Home for the Visually Impaired.

📰 In our offices, we sort waste, compost, and try to work with all documents in digital form to reduce paper consumption.

Project Support

We make full use of our capabilities and resources to contribute to a good cause.

👪 We have been cooperating with the Pink Bubble and Život dětem organizations for a long time. 🎁 And for the second year in a row, we are fulfilling Christmas wishes for children from the Children's Center at Thomayer Hospital.

🌲 We are also involved in the Sázíme Czechia project, and in 2023 we planted 200 trees.

🏃‍♂️ Teribear is a very popular project. In 2023, our employees ran to raise CZK 62,712, which we donated to support young people from children's homes.

Health Days

Just as Cardif covers its clients, it also ensures that our employees are in perfect condition. We regularly organize so-called Health Days for our employees.

👨‍⚕️ Employees can have their moles or eyes examined, their blood sugar or blood flow checked, and much more, right in the office.

🎗 We strive to educate our employees that early detection of breast and testicular cancer is crucial for subsequent recovery.

🩺 Every employee also has the opportunity to undergo a preventive check-up once a year, which we will reimburse.

📝 We organize various workshops throughout the year so that every employee can find something they enjoy.

🌷 On International Women's Day, we take the opportunity to thank the women in our team.

🎨 And we make Christmas and Easter more enjoyable with creative workshops, for example.

Every year, we also get together for an All Staff Meeting or let off steam at a sports day, where, among other things, we compete for victory in the now traditional Cardif Beach Open volleyball tournament.

Although Cardif's primary goal is customer satisfaction, we appreciate it when our work is recognized in various prestigious competitions. For example, we have been ranked among the top winners of the Finparáda Financial Product of the Year competition for several years. 🏆
