Junior Trader

Generali Investments CEE, investicni spolecnost, a.s., is an investment company based in the Czech Republic with foreign branch in Budapest with approximately 130 people in total, a member of the Generali global financial group. Managing assets of approximately 18 billion EUR with.

We are now looking for Junior Trader. This role represents a strong opportunity for a motivated investment professional who enjoys working in financial markets, executing trades across asset classes, supporting portfolio managers and contributing to a high‑quality, disciplined investment process.

• Execute trades in accordance with internal rules, risk parameters and best‑execution standards under the supervision of senior traders.
• Prepare, maintain and develop daily, weekly and monthly trading plans to support portfolio strategies.
• Monitor markets, identify relevant trading opportunities and support their implementation.
• Apply solid understanding of trading techniques and market behaviour in day‑to‑day execution.
• Cooperate effectively within a team‑oriented environment, maintaining close collaboration with portfolio managers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and complete trading documentation, including production of best‑execution reporting and statistics.
• Oversee the revision of regulatory frameworks, internal processes and trading procedures with the goal of minimizing operational risk
• Cooperate on the implementation, enhancement and development of front‑office IT systems, providing feedback and supporting process improvements
• Manage and coordinate change‑request processes, including communication with internal and external teams to ensure smooth delivery and proper documentation.

• University degree (Finance, Economics, Banking or related field).
• Analytical mindset and interest in financial markets; experience in trading or investment operations is an advantage.
• High attention to detail, strong numerical ability and reliability.
• Ability to work under time pressure.
• Professional command of English
• Professional command of Czech (highly preffered)
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel; additional technical skills are welcome).
