Data Scientist

BNP Paribas Cardif is offering you the chance to become a team member of Data & Analytics Team which helps Cardif Central Europe to improve and monitor Data Quality with the ultimate purpose to ensure business, analytical and technical activities, initiatives and projects can properly be executed by ensuring data availability and sufficient data quality.

We are looking for Data Scientist who will be mainly responsible for operational development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions to serve our business model's transformation in order to meet our partners’ and clients’ expectations.

• Contribute to the roll out of the regional Analytics roadmap. Leveraging Advanced Analytics to improve services offered to our clients, partners and improve our internal processes.
• Working on development of internal models in Claim Automation, Fraud Detection as well as building solutions on top of existing LLMs
• Sourcing, validation and analysis of data
• Understanding the underlying business processes
• Design the probabilistic modelling of the business objectives
• Technical analysis of model results during both during training and in production
• Presenting the results in a simple and efficient way to stakeholders
• Training and evaluating the machine learning models and designing models’ quality monitoring strategies through time.

• You have 2-4 years of experience in Data Science
• You have strong analytical and logical thinking
• Ability and desire to learn and deeply understand new topics
• Knowledge of Python, SQL and Machine Learning  is core for this position
• Theoretical understanding and experience with practical implementation of Classification, Regression, Clustering and other basic concepts and principles is essential
• You are able to utilize libraries like Pandas, Scikit-learn, Tensorflow, Plotly, MLflow or their alternatives will be the foundation for your day-to-day work
• Experience in Computer Vision or NLP/LLM domain is an asset
• Experience in finance or insurance is advantageous
• For presenting the outcomes you need communication and interpersonal skills
