IT Risk & Control Specialist

For our IT Risk & Control team at Business Services Finance Europe, we are looking for a new colleague located in Prague. The team is focused on the European activities and the manager is based in our office in Belgium so the traveling into other EU countries is required as 10% of the working time. You will execute your activities across Europe and will ensure that the IT Internal Control framework of Ahold Delhaize is effectively and efficiently designed and meets the set requirements.

• assisting the team in designing the control framework, based on risk assessments and newly issued policies
• providing advices and supporting the Business in designing and implementing new controls
• monitoring IT controls
• discussing control issues and related remediation with the business
• supporting Data Analytics activities and the adoption of new technologies
• building and maintaining a network of internal and external stakeholders and partners
• being a part of the European risk team which is focused on assisting the business to be in control and to provide insight into control effectiveness

• university degree in Finance, Economics, Information Technologies
• work experience of minimum 3-5 years in one or more subjects: external/internal auditing, internal controls, IT attestation, IT compliance, business/IT controlling
• fluent English and Czech (both written and verbally)
• CISA, CRISC, or equivalent is preferred but not required
• good knowledge of IT General Controls is required
• risk and control mindset (professional skepticism)
• expertise with assurance reports / certifications (SOC1, SOC2, ISO 27001)
• good knowledge of SAP and Cloud technologies is a plus
• experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Databricks, SAP is a plus
• passion for emerging & disruptive technologies
• team player with good communication and influencing skill
• strong analytical skills needed to understand and challenge processes
