Junior Cyber Security Engineer

Job Summary:

Support engineering activities under the supervision of senior engineer in all types of

projects sizes and complexities. Complete tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with

contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.

Main Accountabilities:

Technical contribution

• Performs basic survey work, standard computations, analysis, and basic design tasks.
• Collects data and supports production of the engineering design.
• Exercises judgment on limited details of work and on application of standard methods.
• Prepares project documentation within one's scope of deliverables.

Customer and Sales

• Assists customers on technical issues, interacts with official contacts, contractors, and

other staff within his/her scope of deliverables.

• Assists communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.

Technical leadership and knowledge sharing

• Participates in workshops pertaining to engineering design, tools, and processes.
• Learns from best practices / Lessons-Learned documentation across different projects

and disciplines.

Processes and tools

• Uses standard processes and tools applicable to one's area of responsibility.
• Reports process and tool inefficiencies, along with suggesting ideas for improvement.

Risk and opportunity management

• Supports technical risk assessments and implements resulting actions for one's

projects.

Contract management

• Ensures Bill of Material (BOM) for the project meets contractual obligations.

Planning and control

• Follows work plans and cost estimates provided by the Project Manager and ensures

quality deliverables on time and at targeted cost.

Supply Chain management

• Collaborates with the Supply Chain function and the Project Manager(s) to meet the

contractual obligations.

Manufacturing and Testing

• Coordinates with Manufacturing and Testing functions to ensure the technical solutions

are appropriately manufactured/ staged and tested.

• Updates the engineering deliverables as-built.

Commissioning and Service

• Coordinates with Commissioning / Service functions to ensure the designs are

appropriately installed and commissioned (if applicable as part of the contract).

• Updates the engineering deliverables post installation & commissioning (if applicable)
