"QA Engineer"

• Take ownership of testing for one or more product components, ensuring consistent quality across releases.

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test suites (integration, end-to-end, performance).

• Create and maintain test strategies and test plans aligned with Agile/Scrum development cycles.

• Collaborate with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria.

• Perform exploratory, regression, and performance testing to identify edge cases early.

• Actively contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests and improving test efficiency.

• Mentor junior QA engineers and review their test cases or automation scripts.

• Drive continuous improvements to QA processes, tools, and frameworks.

• Must

  • Strong understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance methodologies.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript).

  • Hands-on experience with web technology testing (HTTP, REST APIs, microservices).

  • Practical experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Selenium, Playwright).

  • Ability to design test cases based on user flows, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.

  • Experience with CI/CD automation and version control (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

  • Solid analytical skills and ability to debug issues across system boundaries.

  • Active skill with relational databases

• Nice to have

  • User-level knowledge of Linux and Docker

  • Experience with performance or security testing tools.

  • Experience working in distributed systems or event-driven architectures.

  • Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Knowledge of SQL and database testing.

  • Understanding of monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).
