The Mission

As Product Manager for the US Market at ThreatMark, your mission is to make our fraud prevention platform the obvious choice for Tier 2 and Tier 3 banks and credit unions across the United States.

You will own product-market fit in the US: understanding how online banking fraud actually plays out against American financial institutions, learning what regional banks and credit unions need from a fraud platform, and shaping our product so it fits their reality – their digital banking stack, their regulatory obligations, their fraud losses, and their buying process.

A large part of this role is partnership-facing. Most US community banks and credit unions do not build their own digital banking channel; they buy it. You will lead our relationships with digital banking providers and platforms, shape how we integrate with them, and turn those integrations into a repeatable path to market.

You are the link between our technology-driven product team and the day-to-day needs of US financial institutions.

General

  • Seniority: 5+ years in product management, fraud prevention, or a bank/credit union anti-fraud function; alternatively, experience from a US digital banking or fraud technology vendor.

  • Location: United States. Remote, with willingness to travel for customer visits, partner meetings, and industry events.

  • Employment Type: Employee or Contractor.

  • Schedule: Full-time.

  • Work Arrangement: Full remote, with overlap into European hours for collaboration with our product and engineering teams, plus periodic in-person sessions.

Responsibilities

US Market Fit & Strategy

  • Building a deep, first-hand understanding of Tier 2 and Tier 3 banks and credit unions: how they are organized, how fraud teams operate, who makes buying decisions, and what they can realistically deploy.

  • Running structured discovery with US prospects, customers, analysts, and partners to identify gaps between our current product and what the US market expects.

  • Translating those findings into a prioritized roadmap for US market fit – and defending those priorities inside a global product organization.

  • Mapping the competitive landscape in the US and positioning our capabilities against incumbent fraud and authentication vendors already embedded in this segment.

US Fraud Domain Ownership

  • Being our internal authority on how online banking fraud plays out against US institutions – which attack patterns drive real losses in this segment, and where that differs from other markets.

  • Understanding fraud across US payment rails, and how controls and liability differ across each.

  • Tracking the US regulatory and supervisory environment as it applies to fraud, and understanding how it shapes what institutions are obliged to do about losses and scams.

  • Designing detection and prevention capabilities that reflect how US fraud actually happens, not how it happens elsewhere.

  • Feeding real US fraud cases and customer losses back into detection logic, risk models, and analyst workflows.

Digital Banking Partnerships & Integrations

  • Leading cooperation with US digital banking providers and platforms – the vendors that supply online and mobile banking to community banks and credit unions.

  • Owning the integration strategy: what a supported integration looks like, what it must deliver technically and commercially, and how quickly a mutual customer can go live.

  • Working with partner product and engineering teams to get us into their SDKs, APIs, app marketplaces, and certification programs.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholders

  • Collaborating with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success to carry US requirements from discovery through launch and adoption.

  • Acting as the voice of the US market inside product planning, and the voice of the product in front of US customers and partners.

  • Leading release planning for US-specific functionality and setting clear delivery expectations.

  • Supporting sales with domain credibility in prospect conversations, RFPs, and vendor due diligence reviews.

  • Communicating clearly with stakeholders at all levels, keeping progress, milestones, and trade-offs transparent.

  • Building durable relationships with fraud leaders at US institutions and with product leaders at partner platforms.

Qualifications

Must Have

  • Experience with fraud management in the US banking context – inside a bank or credit union, or at a vendor serving them.

  • Working knowledge of the US digital banking landscape and the platform vendors that serve community banks and credit unions.

  • Strong understanding of fraud schemes and the US regulatory requirements that shape how institutions respond to them.

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-focused solutions.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to drive alignment across teams you do not manage.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • A technical background and solid understanding of software development processes and principles.

  • Based in the United States.

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience with a digital banking platform, core provider, or their partner ecosystem.

  • Experience selling into or building for Tier 2 and Tier 3 institutions, including familiarity with their procurement and vendor risk processes.

  • Familiarity with modern technology stacks and the realities of a startup environment.

  • Knowledge of the product lifecycle.

What We Value

  • Extreme Ownership: Taking initiative, driving results, and passionately owning project outcomes.

  • Deep Understanding: Preferring to understand topics and systems deeply and from first principles, over opinions, guesses, and the superficial.

  • Integrity: Consistently adhering to strong moral and ethical principles; acting with honesty, accountability, and transparency.

  • Collaboration: Building positive, efficient relationships and communicating precisely.

  • Innovation and Adaptability: Continuously seeking improvement, being open to new ideas, and making data-driven decisions.

Let's win the war against Fraud.
