About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the implementation of the NIS2 Directive across our organization. This is a high-impact role responsible for ensuring compliance with EU cybersecurity regulations, enhancing risk management, and safeguarding essential services. You will establish and coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and serve as the primary contact among stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage NIS2 compliance projects (including IT and OT environment).
• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan for NIS2 compliance, covering all tasks, timelines, and resources.
• Coordinate activities across departments (incl. cybersecurity, legal, operations, and executive stakeholders), ensuring all stakeholders understand their roles in the compliance process.
• Assemble and lead the implementation team, promoting effective collaboration and execution.
• Identify and allocate necessary resources (personnel, tools, budget) for compliance initiatives.
• Coordinate all activities with external partners, regulatory authorities, and internal teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Monitor project risks and address issues proactively.
• Escalate significant risks and recommend mitigation actions to management.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, including policies.
• Prepare compliance reports for internal audits and regulatory bodies.
• Regularly review and refine compliance processes to align with NIS2 updates.
• Facilitate post-incident reviews to improve future response and prevention efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
• Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects in large organizations.
• General knowledge of NIS2 Directive and/or other relevant cybersecurity frameworks.

Skills and competencies

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with risk management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to evolving requirements.
• Fluency in Czech. Advance level in English.

Additional Requirements (nice to have)

• Understanding of IT/OT systems, network architecture, and cybersecurity principles will be a significant advantage.
• Experience working in critical infrastructure sectors (e.g., energy, transport, manufacturing) is desirable.
• Experience in change management and process improvement.
• Familiarity with technical security controls, reporting obligations, and business continuity planning.
