Head of Finance

Now we're looking for a Head of Finance who's ready to drive our financial strategy forward.

The Opportunity

This is not your typical finance leadership position. We are seeking a high-potential, mid-career leader who is ready to advance to the next step in their career. You will report directly to the COO/CFO and will be responsible for our financial operations, combining strategic oversight with hands-on execution. If you excel at building systems rather than just managing existing ones and are motivated by the opportunity to lead teams while conducting key analyses, this role offers you the chance to influence critical business decisions.

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Partner directly with the COO/CFO as their trusted right hand, serving as the go-to contact for C-level executives on budgets and spending decisions

• Deliver regular financial reports and dashboards that empower leadership to make informed strategic and operational choices

• Provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to senior leaders, then track implementation to ensure impact

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and mentor controlling, accounting, and payroll teams to build a cohesive, high‑performing finance function with strong standards and continuous improvement

Core Financial Management

• Own critical financial processes, including cash flow reporting, revenue monitoring, EBITDA analysis, forecasting, and budgeting

• Take part in company-wide financial planning and resource allocation initiatives

Systems & Process Excellence

• Ensure our NetSuite ERP system is leveraged effectively across all financial activities and reporting

• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and enhanced reporting capabilities to support scalable growth

• Bridge communication between finance, operations, and management to ensure alignment on financial performance and priorities

Essential Experience & Skills

• Over 5 years of experience in finance roles combining Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and broader financial management

• A proven track record of being both strategically minded and operationally hands-on—you're comfortable analyzing budgets in the morning and coaching your team in the afternoon

• Solid understanding of Czech accounting principles to effectively oversee compliance and methodology

• Strong proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills—you genuinely enjoy optimizing financial systems

• Excellent communication skills to translate financial concepts for non-finance executives

• Fluency in both Czech and English
