Finance Associate (Livesport Digital)

Livesport Digital is a leading Sports Media Investment company and the main acquisition entity within the Livesport Group. We specialize in strategic investments in sports digital media across the globe, leveraging synergies from our core business and our flagship product, Flashscore. As we continue our rapid expansion, we're looking for a highly driven Finance Associate to join our team and support our daily operations, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), and Asset Management initiatives.

As a Finance Associate, you'll play a critical role in supporting both strategic acquisitions and ongoing asset management for our fast-paced online sports data business. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you'll be at the heart of our operations—facilitating smooth day-to-day financial activities, performing financial modeling and due diligence, managing post-deal integration, and optimizing the performance of our managed assets.

Operations & Financial Management

• Manage the flow of documents between internal stakeholders and external providers of accounting and payment operations services

• Prepare monthly and ad hoc management reports, along with cash forecasts, and support the monthly closing process

• Coordinate the implementation of our ERP system and become a key user, driving its adoption across the organization

M&A Support

• Conduct market research and target screening to identify potential acquisition opportunities

• Build and maintain detailed financial models for M&A targets, and collaborate on the preparation of non-binding and binding offers

• Support senior colleagues throughout the M&A deal lifecycle, including execution, structuring, due diligence, data room management, and coordination with internal and external advisors

Asset Management & Performance Optimization

• Monitor the financial and operational performance of both acquired and existing assets

• Analyze key project KPIs such as user metrics, sales funnel performance, revenue, and costs, providing actionable insights to optimize asset performance

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across finance, product & growth, and sales to drive results

• Mindset: Exceptional curiosity, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive, hands-on approach

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

• Experience: Background in financial analysis or transaction services

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel financial modeling and PowerPoint presentations

• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Czech
