

Generali Investment CEE is looking for help in the Data Management department. This is a very interesting part time opportunity for juniors, recent graduates or mothers/fathers on maternity leave to join one of the most successful companies in Europe.
About the role:
The Data Management department is responsible for importing, validating, and managing reference data within the main application system CRIMS and related systems (Master Data Services, Integration DataHub, and DWH_CORE).
The team ensures high data quality and provides pricing of financial instruments based on a mark-to-market approach or internal models. It also acts as a local point of contact at the regional level.
What will you do?
Data Management & Quality
- Daily monitoring and management of valuation rules for financial instruments
- Validation and maintenance of key instrument and legal entity parameters to ensure data quality
- Setup and ongoing maintenance of financial instruments and legal entities in internal systems
- Daily work with Bloomberg for market data sourcing and validation
Pricing & Reporting
- Ensuring accurate pricing of financial instruments (mark-to-market and model-based approaches)
- Daily reporting of price data to depository and accounting teams
- Investigation and resolution of pricing discrepancies and data issues
Processes & Improvements
- Mapping and documentation of existing processes
- Identification and implementation of process improvements and (automation, control enhancements)
- Participation in projects related to data flows, reporting, and system enhancements
Collaboration
- Close cooperation with Front Office, Accounting, IT, Back Office, Portfolio Administration
- Acting as a local contact point for the Data Management department and data-related topics within the region
Who are we looking for?
Must-have
- At least 1–2 years of experience in an investment firm or fund management company
- Strong analytical and technical thinking
- Basic knowledge of financial instruments
- MS Excel at intermediate/advanced level (VLOOKUP, IF, macros, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of SQL
- English at least at B2 level
- Problem-solving mindset and flexibility
- Team-oriented with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage time, priorities, workload peaks, and project
Nice to have
- Experience with Bloomberg
- Experience with MS SQL Server Management Studio
- Experience with the IT project lifecycle in the investment domain
