Business Controlling Director

Finance plays a key role in shaping business decisions and driving sustainable growth. We are looking for an experienced finance leader who will lead our Business Controlling function and become a trusted partner to the CFO, senior business leaders and international finance stakeholders across Ahold Delhaize. This is a unique opportunity to influence the performance of one of the largest retailers in the Czech Republic while contributing to broader finance initiatives and collaboration across the international organization.

• lead the Business Controlling team and further develop finance business partnering across Albert
• act as a key financial advisor to the CFO, Finance Leadership Team and senior stakeholders
• translate business strategy into financial plans, targets and actionable insights
• lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning activities
• monitor business performance and identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement
• challenge business cases, investments and strategic initiatives to support profitable growth
• support finance transformation, digitalization and data-driven decision making
• develop and inspire a high-performing team of finance professionals

• strong experience in Business Controlling, FP&A or Finance Business Partnering
• proven track record in leading finance teams and developing talent
• ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive business decisions
• atrong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• experience in retail, FMCG or another complex international environment
• fluent English and Czech or Slovak
• passion for improving business performance and creating value
