Are you finishing university or have you already gained your first few years of professional experience? Are you wondering where to best kick-start your career? Do you enjoy technology, have a sharp analytical mind, and the drive to move things forward?
At ABB, we are launching a new AI Transformation Trainee Program. We are looking for talented people who are not afraid of change and want to be part of innovation. Over the course of 12–18 months, you will gain hands-on experience across the business, develop an in-depth understanding of our processes and, most importantly, identify where and how AI can help improve them.
What will you need? An entrepreneurial mindset, analytical thinking, a passion for technology, curiosity and common sense. Your goal will be to come up with concrete ideas on how artificial intelligence can increase our efficiency and flexibility.
What You Can Expect
- Gain an understanding of how our business operates – from order intake to delivery and service.
- Work with key departments (Sales, Project Management, Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement and more) and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify real-world AI use cases – where AI can make processes faster, more accurate or simpler.
- Work with AI specialists to evaluate the potential of your ideas and contribute to their development and implementation.
- Have the opportunity to travel abroad, experience different cultures and learn from different ways of working.

Who We’re Looking For
- Final-year university student or up to 3 years of professional experience, ideally in Business Informatics, Systems Engineering, Data & AI, Economics & Management or a related field.
- Strong interest in AI and its practical applications.
- Strong analytical and systematic thinking with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently, communicate effectively and engage others.
- English and Czech at B2 level or higher.
